“Why UPSC Aspirants Are Protesting in Delhi”

Couple of days ago, some ‘UPSC Aspirants’ were trapped in flood in a library of a coaching centre in old Rajendranagar due to which some students were died unfortunately.

Following the protests by UPSC aspirants against the Delhi government, many other students joined in, expressing their dissatisfaction with how the situation was handled. This tragic event has had a significant impact on ‘UPSC Aspirants’. Now, UPSC students are also protesting against the police for hiding the true number of casualties from the flood incident in Rau’s Coaching centre. Students have seen 9 died bodies on the spot of incident and 8 ambulances were seen taking away the bodies. Students are angry on the police for lack of transparency in Public. This made the students more anger and frustrated.

The protests have seen in different places, includes the metro station of Karol Bagh, Patel Nagar, Rajendra Nagar etc.

In response to the tragic incident, students are now demanding that the government should provide compensation of approximately 2 crores to the families who have lost their children. The students believe that such compensation would be a necessary step towards acknowledging the gravity of the situation and providing some measure of justice and support to those who have suffered the most.

UPSC students are demanding to form a dedicated committee to address and manage such concerns in their area, ensuring that similar incidents do not occur in the near future.

Additionally, the students are pressing for accountability from those responsible for the incident, particularly targeting officials from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). They also demanding to register a FIR against ‘Rau’s IAS’ for this mismanagement.

Students have repeatedly lodged complaints about severe water logging issues, but their concerns have consistently gone unanswered, they have received no response or effective action.

The Police Authorities are busy in making the UPSC aspirants calm and normal but after many attempts, they were unsuccessful. The students are adamant to fulfill their demands then only they will stop protesting for their demands.
