India secured the ‘Bronze Medal’ in women’s 10-metre ‘Air Pistol’ event in Victory at 2024 Paris Olympics.
PM Modi congratulated Manu for her historical winning for the Bronze Medal at Paris Olympics 2024! and further added, “This success is even more special as she becomes the 1st woman to win a medal in shooting for India”.
In Reply to PM Modi wishes, Manu thanked to PM Modi for his warm wishes and blessings and added that she would like to thank his government for all the support and encouragement that helped her to go ahead and achieve goals.
Manu has received congratulations from prominent figures for winning the Bronze, including the President and Vice President of India. Bollywood stars like Sunil Shetty joined in to extend their wishes, alongside cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and India’s coach Gautam Gambhir.
Manu Bhaker has recently tweeted and said, “Winning a medal is a dream come true event, not just for me but for everyone who has supported me. I am deeply grateful to the NRAI(National Rifle Association of India), SAI(Sports Authority of India), Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Coach Jaspal Rana, Haryana government and OGQ(Olympic Gold Quest).” She added further that She dedicates her victory to her Country for their incredible support and love.
However, the Paris Olympics are currently going on and they will be till 11 August 2024. India still have chances to win medals in multiple events and make India proud once again.
