“Bangladesh Protests: Behind the Muslim-Hindu Tensions”

After the military coup in Ba, Attacks on Hindu minorities have been increased in the capital, Dhaka.

Bangladeshi Muslims are keep on attacking the Hindu minorities and destroying the worship places like temple. But why they are attacking Hindus even the issue was related to the Government Job qoutes?

The reason of getting attacks back to back, is the support of Hindus community towards Sheikh Hasina’s Party. As the protests are against Sheikh Hasina, they started attacking not only Hindu community but also the activists leaders of ‘Awami League’.

Couple of days back, Dr. Jaishankar has given the brief speech over the issue in Bangladesh in Parliament. He said, “Due to the recent event of ‘Military Coup’ in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina asked to open the doors for entering in India for her safety purpose.

Further added, India is monitoring the current situation and trying to make channels open for the communications. Jaishankar also highlighted that he expects that the host government is providing the securities to the government officials and concerned for the attacks on Hindus minorities.”

In Addition, Israel ambassador to India, Naor Gilon also expressed his concern related to the atrocities against minorities especially against Hindus in Bangladesh.
