PM Modi emphasized the issue of women’s safety and said, “Nowadays, we are continuously working for pushing or encouraging women in almost every sector for celebrating their success and progress. Last year at 77th Independence day, PM Modi pledged to create ‘Lakhpati Didi’s‘ in India. But there are some challenges where the strict actions need to be taken.”
He further added, Women’s safety is still a big problem in India. He talked about the recent rape case in Kolkata. He urges CBI and other investigation agencies to take the strict actions against the culprits.
Whenever such cases occurs related to women safety, Media extensively gives coverage to them to gain the public attention. However, when the culprits are punished, our media often fails to provide the coverage which results in the lack of public awareness about the consequences.
PM Modi urges society and the state government to take the appropriate actions against barrier of ‘Women Safety’ issue and urges them to address such incidents more seriously.
Attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh
PM Modi highlighted the issue of attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh, expressed his deep concerns over the violence and riots against 1crore minorities. PM Modi asked Bangladesh’s interim government to ensure the safety of minorities and asked to improve the situation.
PM Modi expressed his interests and enthusiasm, for making Bangladesh more prosperous and peaceful. He highlighted his willingness to engage with Bangladesh for the future developments.
Nepotism in Indian Politics
PM Modi brought attention to the issue of Nepotism and Casteism in Indian Politics. He said, Casteism and Nepotism are harming Indian Democracy. We should ensure the participation of ‘Fresh blood’ with over 1 lakh youngsters from non-political background. It does not matter whether they choose any party or not. This will help to exclude the nepotism issue from politics.”
